Responsibilities Monitor risk management of introduced broker-dealers (“IBD”), Prime Brokers and Direct Clients through programming, reporting and regulatory calculations. Market surveillance for risk monitoring of credit extended under Regulation T and FINRA 4210. Calculate hypothetical portfolios for potential impact to value at risk requirements and the collateral usage at various financial clearing and settlement facilities. Responsibilities: Daily reporting of all trade activity for the previous day Prepare daily analysis of NSCC and OCC collateral requirements Generate, analyze, and distribute multiple daily risk reports Effectively evaluate trade failures compared to market risk Calculate firm and customer concentrations Monitor and escalate risk equity calls relating to portfolio margining under FINRA 4210 Prepare reports and documents for senior management meetings Survey all market exposure to customer margins and proprietary inventory accounts Create and program critical data base reports Monitor intraday market fluctuations for equity deficiencies Qualifications Required: Proficiency in Excel Preferred: SQL programming skills Risk Management experience Knowledge of the securities industry Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in business related field SIE and Series 99 required to be completed within 90 days of employment Hiring Salary Range $45,000 - $55,000 per annum (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
