Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated
Staff Accountant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in
accounting principles and a keen attention to detail. The position
will involve a variety of tasks, including managing financial
records, supporting tax-related processes, and collaborating with
external accounting professionals. Responsibilities: • Manage
accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring
accuracy and timeliness. • Prepare and post journal entries to
maintain an up-to-date general ledger. • Reconcile bank statements
and ensure proper alignment with financial records. • Assist in
month-end closing procedures and produce necessary financial
reports. • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel
to analyze and organize data. • Coordinate with state government
agencies regarding unemployment tax filings. • Maintain organized
records and ensure proper filing of financial documents. •
Collaborate with external CPA firms to ensure compliance and
accuracy in financial reporting. • Provide administrative support
through record-keeping and document management. • Assist the
Controller with various tasks and responsibilities as needed.•
Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
management. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including
general ledger and journal entries. • Proficiency in accounting
software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, and Oracle. • Ability
to perform bank reconciliations and manage month-end close
processes. • Familiarity with Excel for data analysis and reporting
purposes. • Experience working with external CPA firms and handling
tax-related matters. • Excellent organizational skills and
attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for
collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
