Job Description Job Description Job Title: Electrician Technician- Mayo Clinic Job Description Join our team to work on large-scale healthcare new construction projects, including the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. As an electrician technician, you will assemble, install, and wire apparatus and fixtures using hand and power tools. Your expertise in bending and running conduit/EMT, as well as interpreting blueprints, will be essential. This role requires reliable transportation and availability to work 5 days a week, 40 hours. Contractors must wear PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots. Shift: 6am to 3:30 M-F Pay: 25-30/hr Responsibilities Assemble, install, and wire electrical apparatus and fixtures. Proficiently bend and run conduit/EMT. Read and interpret blueprints for installation purposes. Install fuse boxes and perform electrical troubleshooting. Use basic hand tools and cordless drills for various tasks. Ensure punctuality by being on-site no later than 5:50 am. Essential Skills At least 7 years of commercial new construction electrical experience. Proficiency in running and bending conduit. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience with high voltage and electrical components. Strong troubleshooting and termination skills. Bilingual skills are a plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications 8 years of new commercial construction experience. Experience in healthcare environments, such as hospitals, is valued. Ability to work independently and oversee a crew. Must have reliable transportation. Recent experience within the last year. Why Work Here? Work Environment Perform electrical work on new construction commercial jobsites throughout Jacksonville. The work environment varies between outdoor and indoor settings, with exposure to different weather conditions. Dress code includes PPE: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel-Toed Boots, Hi-Vis Shirt/Vest, Safety Gloves, and Working Pants. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
