Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Technician Job Description We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician who will travel to commercial construction sites to install new AC units in office buildings, churches, banks, schools, plants, and more. The role involves visiting multiple locations to either install new units or service and repair previously installed units. A successful candidate will have the ability to handle compressors, condensers, and coolant effectively. Responsibilities Travel to various commercial construction sites to install and service AC units. Install, repair, and replace HVAC units in commercial and industrial settings. Service rooftop units and troubleshoot them mechanically and electrically. Repair and install condensers, compressors, and coolant. Essential Skills Experience with HVAC systems, including service, mechanical, and installation aspects. Proficiency in handling compressors, condensers, and coolants. Universal EPA certification. Ability to troubleshoot units electrically and mechanically. Experience in preventive maintenance of HVAC systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to electrically troubleshoot and test power/voltage. Experience with preventive maintenance on HVAC units. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bessemer, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
