Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within an
educational environment. This contract role is located in
Montgomery, AL, offering an opportunity to provide essential
communication support for students requiring sign language
interpretation in a school setting. Responsibilities: Facilitate
clear and accurate sign language interpretation during virtual
educational sessions and telehealth appointments. Collaborate with
educators and healthcare professionals to ensure effective
communication access for deaf or hard-of-hearing students. Maintain
confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Adapt
interpreting techniques to suit various virtual platforms and
individual student needs. Document and report on interpreting
services provided as required. Qualifications: Proficiency in
American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrable interpreting
experience. Experience in telehealth or virtual interpretation is
highly desirable. Strong understanding of educational terms and
settings to support students effectively. Ability to work
independently in a remote or virtual environment. Excellent
communication, organizational, and time management skills. Must
hold any required certification or licensure relevant to sign
