Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 school setting within the Saint Johns County area of Florida. This full-time, itinerant role involves providing occupational therapy services across multiple school sites, covering a medical leave through the end of the current school year. Location: Saint Johns County, FL (Multiple school sites) Contract Duration: January 8, 2025 June 1, 2026 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to students individual needs in a school environment. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). - Manage and document student progress in compliance with district and state regulations. - Provide itinerant services across multiple school locations to ensure coverage and continuity of care. - Monitor and adjust therapy approaches based on student responsiveness and educational goals. Qualifications: - Must hold an active Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist license. - Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably within K-12 settings. - Ability to adapt to an itinerant role, managing caseloads across multiple sites efficiently. - Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with educational teams. - Commitment to supporting students developmental and educational success.
