Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Alabaster, AL is seeking a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide essential therapeutic support to students. This
contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers
the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment
focused on student growth and development. Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to K-12
students in accordance with approved treatment plans Conduct
assessments and evaluations to identify students speech, language,
communication, and swallowing needs Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective
intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation, progress
notes, and comply with all state and federal regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the formulation of
educational goals and objectives Qualifications: Valid CCC
(Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably with
K-12 students Strong knowledge of speech and language development,
disorders, and intervention techniques Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills to work collaboratively with students, staff,
and families Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain
compliance with educational standards Location: Alabaster, AL This
