Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Pelham, AL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to support student communication needs throughout the
academic school year on a contract basis. This role offers the
opportunity to work closely with students across all grade levels
to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication
disorders within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and provide direct therapy to students with speech and
language impairments Develop individualized treatment plans to
support students communication goals Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other team members to integrate therapy goals into
classroom activities Maintain detailed documentation and compliance
with school and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary
meetings and progress monitoring Qualifications: Valid SLP license
with Clinical Certification (CCC-SLP) Experience working in
school-based settings across K-12 grades Strong knowledge of
educational regulations and Individualized Education Program (IEP)
processes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to
engage effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to
tailor therapy approaches to diverse student needs and backgrounds
