Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available
within a dynamic school environment serving students from PreK
through 12th grade. This role offers the opportunity to provide
essential speech and language services across multiple grade
levels, addressing the diverse needs of students in early childhood
through high school. Location: Jacksonville, FL Position Type:
Contract | Full Time | 35 hours per week Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized
treatment plans for students across PreK-12 grade levels Deliver
direct therapy services to students in various academic settings,
including preschool, elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high
school (9-12) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
educational professionals to support student progress and
communication goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation of
student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of
school-wide communication strategies Qualifications and Experience:
Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist is required Experience working with
pediatric populations in school settings is highly preferred
Ability to manage an itinerant caseload, adapting services across
multiple grade levels Strong communication and organizational
skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families
Commitment to student-centered care and outcomes-based intervention
