Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a dynamic school
setting in Bessemer, AL. This position offers the opportunity to
provide essential speech and language therapy services to students,
helping them improve communication skills and achieve academic
success. The role involves traveling between multiple school
locations, allowing for a varied and engaging work experience. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for
students with communication disorders Develop and implement
individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation
of therapy sessions and student outcomes Participate in IEP
meetings and provide expertise on speech and language goals
Required Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure or
certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working
with school-aged children in educational settings Strong
understanding of speech and language development and disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability and
willingness to travel between school sites as required Location:
