PROTECTING WHAT MATTERS MOST, FOR OVER A CENTURY Come Build Your Career Under OUR RoofJob Description: This Maintenance Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading reliability improvements for assigned areas by focusing on improving uptime and reliability to meet increased demand.-- Specific Job Functions:-- -- Develop and implement risk management strategies to include predictive and preventive maintenance systems (vibration analysis, lubrication oil analysis, motor circuit evaluation, corrosion monitoring, thermography, equipment laser alignment, etc.) -- Analyze equipment, piping, electrical, and instrument failures and provide solutions to eliminate or extend the time between failures.-- -- Establish systems that encourage others to perform failure analysis.-- -- Coach others (engineers, maintenance technicians, and operators) in the performance of Root Cause Analysis.-- -- Monitor equipment performance, identify opportunities for equipment or product improvement-- -- Work closely with maintenance mechanics and operators to improve techniques that adversely affect equipment or product quality.-- -- Work closely with project engineers or technical advisers to establish and enhance design standards that minimize life cycle costs and support high reliability-- -- Identify skill improvement opportunities and new tools/techniques to improve operating and maintenance results-- -- Review engineering specifications and drawings, propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and business requirements-- Minimum Qualifications:-- -- Bachelor's degree in Engineering -- 3+ years in maintenance and reliability improvement -- 2+ years in maintenance-- Additional Preferred Qualifications: -- Ability to use a CMMS (Maximo preferred) and Google Office or Microsoft office products-- -- Demonstrated ability to improve maintenance and reliability through the use of Reliability Principles and methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis(FMEA), Root Cause Analysis(RCA), Preventive(PM) and Predictive Maintenance(PdM), life cycle cost analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM), and Risk-Based Inspection-- -- Thorough understanding of Manufacturing Processes and Equipment. -- Knowledge of rotating equipment, machine design, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, bearings, lubrication, drives, and PLCs-- -- --Extensive practical knowledge of Vibration Analysis, Thermal Imaging, Oil Analysis, Non-Destructive Testing, and Laser Alignment-- -- Ability to apply probability, statistical modeling, and prediction reliability tools appropriately-- -- Ability to use in-depth analysis and structured methodology to identify the true root causes of a situation or event.-- -- Ability to evaluate a particular situation or scenario and quantify the probability and consequence of an undesirable event-- -- Ability to use risk analysis results to develop a strategy to eliminate or minimize the impact of risk scenarios-- -- Demonstrated ability to develop, prioritize, and execute plans to deliver results on multiple projects and tasks to achieve critical operating objectives-- -- Small capital project management skills-- -- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of plant, technical, and management personnel-- -- Strong written and verbal communication skills-- -- Demonstrated the ability to effectively lead through the influence of non-reports -- Demonstrated leadership skills in consensus and team building across functions and levels in the organization (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Hourly, etc.) -- Knowledge of and ability to apply safety principles #ZRHWe believe our employees are our greatest resource.
