Job Description Additional Compensation Bonus Eligible, Health/Vision/Dental, Retirement, PTO, Relocation Package Location: Greensboro, NC Industry: Electrical Construction – Large Commercial, Industrial, and Data Centers About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Lead to join our growing team and support complex, large-scale electrical construction projects across the commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors. This role plays a key part in executing the company's BIM standards and processes , overseeing model coordination and drawing production, and mentoring BIM Specialists and Engineers to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables. The ideal candidate has 5 years of hands-on BIM experience in the electrical or MEP trades, with a proven track record of managing project-level modeling efforts and coordinating with internal and external project teams. Key Responsibilities: Support the BIM Manager in implementing project-specific BIM strategies, standards, and deliverables. Oversee the production of construction drawings for assigned projects. Execute and uphold the company's BIM Standards and Processes to maintain consistency and accuracy. Coordinate and manage outside BIM Consultants utilized on projects, ensuring alignment with internal workflows and schedules. Plan and schedule workload for the company's BIM Specialists, BIM Engineers, and Consultants , balancing project priorities and deadlines. Review work completed by internal and external BIM resources for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with design intent. Release finalized Construction Drawings to the Project Team. Assist BIM Specialists and Engineers with complex modeling tasks, detailing, and problem-solving as needed. Participate in coordination meetings with project stakeholders to resolve clashes and support constructability efforts. Collaborate with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth handoff between design and field installation. Qualifications 5 years of BIM experience in electrical construction or related MEP fields. Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks , and AutoCAD (Fabrication CADmep experience preferred). Strong understanding of electrical systems and layouts for large commercial, industrial, or data center projects. Proven ability to lead and mentor BIM teams while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Experience managing consultant coordination and multi-discipline model integration. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Project Experience Required Large Commercial/Industrial Data Center is PLUS Software Experience Required REVIT Navisworks
