Job Description We are seeking a Distribution Designer to join our
Power Distribution Engineering team. This role involves designing
both overhead and underground electric distribution systems and
contributing to various power infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities Design overhead and underground electric
distribution systems. Contribute to power infrastructure projects
with a focus on utility design and power delivery. Utilize tools
such as AutoCAD, Katapult, and SPIDAcalc in design processes.
Ensure designs adhere to the National Electrical Safety Code
(NESC). Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize power
distribution solutions. Essential Skills Proficiency in
distribution design and power distribution. Experience with AutoCAD
and knowledge of electric utility or telecommunications.
Understanding of power poles and lines, power delivery, and utility
design. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with
Katapult or SPIDAcalc. Experience with electrical design and CAD
software. Work Environment Work in the office from Monday to
Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays. This
position offers opportunities for growth, starting at the current
level with potential to advance within the company after a year or
two. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of
Carrollton, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits
and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
