for a Manual Machinist for a company in the Trussville area. This
is a 1st shift position with a starting pay rate of
$27.00-30.00/hr, depending on experience. Apply Today with
Confidence Job Responsibilities of Manual Machinist: Machine plates
including aluminum, iron & steel. Machine pins to close tolerance.
Drilling, tapping and milling. Maintain a clean work space. Work
from provided detailed manufacturing drawings. Efficient in use of
manual machine shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses and
vertical milling machines. Use of measuring devices such as
micrometers, dial indicators and calipers. Equipment used as Manual
Machinist: Drill presses Lathes Milling machine Handheld measuring
instruments Experience Requirements for Manual Machinist: Need to
have 2-3 years minimum of Manual Machinist experience with strong
manual lathe required! Need to be comfortable using all types of
tools Need to have some forklift and/or overhead crane operating
experience Requires a pre-employment drug screen and criminal
