Assistant General Manager

This position reports directly to the Plant General Manager and
is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described

Follow Company policies and display conduct expected of

Specific Job Duties
Directs production and distribution operations for plant, or
assigned territory of industrial organization by performing the
following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Work with HR Manager to maintained Labor/Union Relations
Coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance
with policies, principles, and procedures established by
Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and
Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies
production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance
profitable operation of division.
Manages subordinate Staff heads who supervise employees in the
- Manufacturing Operations
- Materials Management
- Manufacturing Services
- Program Development
- Quality Assurance
- Product Engineering
- Human Resources
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation
of subordinate staff head
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
organization's policies and applicable laws.
Manages organization to forecast/budget to ensure profitability
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years experience or a combination of
education and experience
Excellent computer including typing and the use of Microsoft Excel
Proven leadership abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read, write and perform non-complex mathematical
Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task and follow
Experience with QAD, OEM systems and AS400
