Position Summary:
Directs operations of a programmatic function with a high degree of independence. Responsible for program development, content, and administration. Establishes program objectives, manages fiscal activities, supervises staff, and may require grant writing or other funding acquisition skills. Prepares various reports for the program.
The HEART-NET Program Director oversees program development, administration, and strategic growth. Responsibilities include establishing objectives, managing fiscal activities, supervising staff, securing funding, and ensuring research operations are efficient. This role also acts as the primary liaison for senior leadership, faculty, research teams, and the advisory board.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct the operational, administrative, and financial functions of HEART-NET to ensure efficient program execution.
  • Oversee the development and growth of HEART-NET's infrastructure, including research collaborations and network expansion.
  • Facilitate research engagement by managing feasibility assessments, study start-up, study coordination, data management, and performance monitoring.
  • Serve as the liaison between HEART-NET and senior leadership, faculty, advisory boards, clinics, and external partners to align strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives supporting HEART-NET's sustainability, including grant writing and funding acquisition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Salary Range: $60,835 - $89,000
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience are required. Work experience may NOT substitute for the educational requirement.
