General Pediatric Physician - Sweet Home Alabama - Open to Visa Candidates

Practice "Mission Driven" Medicine Providing Care for the Medically Underserved Population

As a General Pediatrician, join a private, non-profit community health center whose mission is to provide primary health care services to the medically underserved residents in this region of Alabama. This community health center has 12 clinic locations throughout 7 counties where the HPSA score is 20.

• 
  
• Monday-Friday office hours from 8 am to 5 pm - no nights and no weekends
  
  
• Patients will be scheduled, and some walk-ins will fill "no show" slots
  
  
• On average you will see about 17 patients per day - run 2 rooms at a time
  
  
• The electronic medical records will be NextGen
  
  
• Provide full spectrum care from newborns to 18 years of age
  
  
• Call will be one week every 6 weeks (1:6)
  
  
• Practice alongside mid-levels, MAs, RNs, and perform standard outpatient procedures
  
  
• You will only be practicing at one clinic location - no jumping around during the week
  
  
• This is truly a practice designed to provide you a 40-hour work week
  
  
• There is the option for a Director of Pediatrics role for those that qualify
