The Medical Record Clerk/Accounts Payable Rep. ensures completeness of the record by auditing charts and completing a medical records checklist. Medical Records Clerk/Accounts Payable Rep. handles the storage and retention of charts, responds to requests for medical record, copies and maintains medical record tracking log. The Medical Records Clerk/Accounts Payable Rep. will function within the Center/xe2/x80/x99s policies and procedures, support SCA Values, SCA Vision and SCA Mission./xc2/xa0/xc2/xa0/nDuties:/n Chart Completion/n Operative Reports/n Pathology Reports/n Medical Record Requests/n Retrieving records/n Filing / Scanning/n Record Storage and Retention/n Performing other duties as required/n /n /nQUALIFICATIONS/n 2-5 years accounts payable experience required./n Basic accounting procedures with experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable preferred./n Medical terminology and medical records knowledge preferred./n Computer experience, Excel, Word, Medical Billing Software and Applications./xc2/xa0/xc2/xa0/n Good communication skills and phone etiquette/n High school diploma or equivalent/n Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school preferred/n three /xe2/x80/x93 five years/xe2/x80/x99 experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient surgery center or related field/n Computer experience, Excel, Word, Medical Billing Software and Applications'
