Vascular Surgery opening in Tuscaloosa, AL - 58 miles southwest of Birmingham- Population of 90,400 About the Job: - Full-Time, permanent- Affiliation with University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)- Recruiting for a board certified/board eligible Vascular Surgeon. - Ideal candidate is experienced in open and endovascular vascular procedures and has a track record and desire to function independently in a community hospital setting.- This position will play a key role in advancing the mission, operations and service of the UAB Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy Division while practicing at DCH and living in Tuscaloosa. Requirements: - The successful applicant should have an MD or DO degree- Be eligible for licensure in the State of Alabama- Currently board certified or eligible by the American Board of Surgery - Possess a strong record of surgical skills in both open and endovascular vascular surgery Health System Details: - Under local ownership and leadership for more than 90 years, the health system has been providing quality and compassionate healthcare to the people of West Alabama.
