Emergency Medicine physician needed to provide emergency medical care to 25 to 30 patients in a 24 hour period, single coverage. This premier physician owned group of physicians staff 15 hospitals in the vicinity. The ED is small, but the newness of the facility and the equipment overcomes the size of the department. The physicians working in this facility can work 24 hour shifts or can break the shifts up to 12 hours. The ED staff is stable and long-term, however, recently a physician has made the decision to retire and a replacement is needed. You can't beat the compensation at $195.00 an hour plus a weekend differential of $10.00 per hour. Take advantage of the tax benefits by working as an I/C with your malpractice paid. Credentialing is quick and the group is open to physicians interested in working locum tenens to perm, or working locum tenens until they find a provider to cover full time.
