  • Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility - please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting
  • Experience Required: At least 1.5 years of recent Med Surg experience required, 2 years preferred
  • First time travelers are accepted
  • Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
  • Must pass cardiac exam during orientation
  • EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have at least 1.5 years of recent Med Surg experience
    • Certifications required: BCLS
    • Skills Required: Telemetry
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position
      • Every other weekend required
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 5 North is a medical surgical unit
        • Patient Diagnoses include COPD, HF, AMS, CVA, Cardiac Arrythmias, etc.

          • Holiday Incentive Contract
          • Margin/OT Billing Rules - Candidates contracted for 48 hours - OT is billed after 48hrs
          • Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect
