  • Registered Nurse position in Intensive Care Unit
  • Experience in ICU with cardiac background required
  • 3-5 years CVICU preferred
  • Experience in high paced unit important for time management
  • Admissions and discharges responsibilities
  • Patient diagnoses include combined cardiac ICU - medical and surgical
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years ICU with cardiac exp required
    • ACLS & BLS required
    • Must float to other like units and possibly ED on occasion
    • EMR - Meditech experience preferred
    • Orientation includes 1 day classroom, 2 days on unit
      • Schedule Information
      • 36H or 48H schedules offered for this position
      • Every other weekend required
      • Candidates contracted for 48 hours - OT is billed after 48 hours
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Special Procedures/Unit Details not applicable for Travel Nurses
        • High competency in unit specific skills such as Swans Ganz, hemodynamic management, and telemetry interpretation
        • Knowledge in IABP, Impella, lobectomy, thoracotomy, cardiac drips/titration, hypothermia, chest tubes, and central lines
          • Additional Details
