• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certification requirements specified by unit.

  • Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7.
  • This is a fast pace/high case load facility - please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting
  • Patient Diagnoses: 5 North is a medical surgical unit, COPD, HF, AMS, CVA, Cardiac Arrythmias, Etc
  • Type of Facility: Short-Term Acute Care

  • Charting: Meditech Expanse
  • Total Staffed Beds: 606

    • Job Requirements
    • Experience Required: At least 1.5 years of recent Med Surg experience required, 2 years preferred
    • First time travelers are accepted
    • Every other weekend required
    • Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
    • Must pass cardiac exam during orientation
    • EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
    • Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect

      • 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position
      • Every other weekend required
