Job Description:
The Nurse practices independently within a similar clinical
setting, providing routine and complex care while managing
long-term goals and contingencies.
Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient
situations and makes appropriate assignments or delegations.
Utilizes the nursing process-----"assessment, diagnosis, planning,
intervention, and evaluation-----"to deliver quality care.
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of
patients and families according to their level of practice.
Administers medications and treatments following protocols,
monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care
provided.
Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers,
identifying learning needs and available resources.
Requires a BSN degree (preferred), at least 1 year of related
nursing experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license in
the state or a compact state.
This is a full-time position.
