Phlebotomist No of positions: 2 Location : 215 Perry Hill Rd,
Montgomery, AL 36109 Period of Performance : 12 months contract
(optional extension) Citizenship Requirement : U.S. Citizen or
Green Card Holder Work Schedule Monday Friday: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM or
8:00 AM 4:30 PM (40 hours/week) Weekend rotation as needed Summary
We are seeking two skilled Phlebotomists to provide high-quality
onsite services for the Central Alabama VA Health Care System. The
selected individuals will support both inpatient and outpatient
specimen collection processes and are expected to uphold the
highest standards of patient care, identification, and sample
handling. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen
collection for inpatients and outpatients. Accession and process
all types of incoming laboratory specimens. Adhere to positive
patient identification protocols to eliminate errors. Maintain
professional relationships with VA staff and patients. Collaborate
with and report to the Supervisor of Phlebotomy. Participate in
additional duties as assigned within the phlebotomy department.
Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a
phlebotomist within the last year. Strong manual dexterity and
observation skills. High attention to detail and commitment to
patient safety. Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
