About The Position Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Rheumatologist for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Florida. This 120-day assignment begins on 06/02/2025, with potential for extension. The physician will work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, seeing 18-20 patients per day. The role focuses on office visits, consultations, and follow-ups, with no procedures required. The ideal candidate will utilize Allscripts EMR for patient management and should be comfortable working in a busy outpatient setting. Job Details: Location: Florida Facility Type: Multi-Specialty Clinic Start Date: 06/02/2025 LOA: 120 days (with potential for extension) Provider Type Needed: Rheumatologist Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm Job Responsibilities and Duties: • Conduct office visits, consultations, and follow-ups for rheumatology patients • Manage a patient load of 18-20 patients per day • Diagnose and treat various rheumatologic conditions • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients • Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals as needed • Utilize Allscripts EMR for patient management and record-keeping • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices Additional Information: • Must be licensed to practice medicine in Florida • Board certification in Rheumatology required • Experience with high-volume outpatient care preferred • Familiarity with Allscripts EMR a plus • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential Apply now to learn more!
