Join our healthcare team in one of Alabama's top hospitals and experience the vibrant Tuscaloosa community./n /n/nJob Details – Alabama Nursing Jobs/n /n - Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35401/n - Healthcare Setting: Heart Failure / Stroke Unit (42 beds)/n - Contract Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)/n - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:00), every other weekend, holidays as required/n - Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours per week)/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,720 - $1,840/n - Dress Code: Solid Navy scrubs/n - Parking: Onsite parking available/n - EMR System: Meditech/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required/n - Active Alabama RN license or Compact Registered Nurse license (no temporary licenses)/n - Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification/n - Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; will consider candidates with at least 18 months under highest professional license and 1 year in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty/n - Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, neuro-cardiac, or similar healthcare specialty/n - Willingness to float to other hospital units and facilities as needed/n /n/nMed/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality patient care for individuals with neurological and cardiac diagnoses, including congestive heart failure and acute stroke/n - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of nurses, cardiologists, and neurologists/n - Maintain best practice standards for neuro-cardiac and telemetry patient care/n - Manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio in a fast-paced clinical environment/n - Float to other units and hospitals as required by staffing needs/n - Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled/n /n/n /n Discover rewarding Alabama nursing jobs in Tuscaloosa—a city known for its welcoming atmosphere, rich cultural heritage, excellent dining, and outdoor recreation.
