Job Description Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/03/2025 Duration: 20 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Description: MANAGER PREFERENCE 16-20 weeks; 13 weeks ACCEPTED Must have oncology experience. Sickle cell experience and chemo certified are preferred but not required NO BLOCK SCHEDULE *36 or 48 hours * option of 18 or 20 week contracts also available Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered. Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6 • Must Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units *Must have EPIC experience Must have the following requirements: • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment • BLS & ACLS - must be able to read and interpret strips • Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed. 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred • Travel experience preferred About Prime Staffing At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
