Winfield, Illinois is a prime location for healthcare professionals seeking Chicago-area radiology jobs in a welcoming suburban setting with excellent amenities.\n \n\nCardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details\n \n Location: Winfield, IL 60190 (Chicago metropolitan area)\n Assignment Length: 12 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)\n Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)\n Hours per Week: 40\n Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2870–$2950\n Employment Type: Travel healthcare job\n Self-scheduling with rotating call (7-9 days per 6-week schedule, including every third weekend)\n \n\nRadiology Technologist Qualifications\n \n Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, interventional cardiac, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab\n Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences\n Current ARRT Certification (Radiologic Technologist)\n Active IEMA Licensure (Illinois Radiology License)\n BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)\n Cardiac and Electrophysiology (EP) experience required\n Experience with Omnicell and Epic charting systems\n Ability to participate in call rotation and work every third weekend\n COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical exemptions considered for COVID-19 only)\n Preferred: 2 years of radiology experience and Bachelor of Science Degree\n \n\nCT / Rad Tech Responsibilities\n \n Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures: left/right heart catheterizations, IABP, IVUS, IMPELLA, and percutaneous interventions\n Assist with special procedures: biopsies, CVC, PICC, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements\n Operate advanced imaging equipment: Siemens C-Arm, GE ultrasound, Siemens Flouro\n Utilize Epic for electronic charting and maintain accurate patient records\n Maintain sterile technique and assist with scrub procedures\n Participate in cardiac ablation, mapping, EP studies, cardioversion, and device implants\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: respiratory, pharmacy, social services\n Provide high-quality clinical support and care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac disease\n Participate in self-scheduling and rotating call coverage as required\n \n\n Explore Winfield, Illinois healthcare jobs!
