Job Description The Northport VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced, full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist who is board-certified. Duties include overseeing all aspects of cardiac care delivered to referred patients and participating in daily ambulatory/outpatient Cardiology clinic services at our Northport VA Healthcare Systems VA Medical Center. Additionally, the physician will work closely with our team of dedicated healthcare professionals to assure compliance with rational, regional, and local VA performance standards, and may serve on local committees as deemed necessary in support of the facility mission. Compensation package highlights: EDRP (Educational Debt Reduction Program) eligible. Total value of forgiveness can be up to $200k of your federal medical student loans! Federal Pension that is vested in just 5 years coupled with a 401k match up to 4%, and healthcare coverage for retirees 55 days total of paid time off CME reimbursement up to $1000 annually
