Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel About this Job As a Stepdown RN, you'll monitor patients who require frequent assessment but who aren't unstable enough to need care in a critical setting. This includes monitoring vital signs, detecting change in patient condition, administering medications, and providing hands-on care. Stepdown - General RN requirements Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure. Travel healthcare professionals are experienced caregivers who adapt quickly to change and enjoy learning new things.
