This role involves managing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory laws, and leading a team of pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional care to customers. Manage and oversee the operations of the pharmacy within Walmart stores. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies as well as Walmart’s policies and procedures. Supervise the dispensing of medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Provide guidance, training, and support to pharmacy staff. Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and storing pharmaceutical supplies effectively. Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries. Optimize pharmacological services to patients by collaborating with healthcare providers. Prepare reports and budgets in alignment with Walmart’s business objectives. Strong leadership and team management skills. Deep knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacy law. Expertise in managing budgets and inventory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in pharmacy information systems and software. Certification in Pharmacy Administration, Pharmacy Management, or a related field is preferred.
