Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. This position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students by providing specialized behavioral assistance in a school setting. The role focuses on implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and behavior support techniques to promote positive student outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized behavior plans. Support students using ABA therapy methods under supervision. Monitor student progress and report observations to the behavior specialist team. Promote a safe and positive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, and other staff to address student needs. Qualifications and Experience: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or equivalent ABA experience required. Strong understanding of behavioral principles and ABA techniques. Ability to work effectively with children in a school environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and dedicated to fostering student success. Location and Schedule: Position is based in Birmingham, AL. Full-time role with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Contract position for the current school year.
