Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare
position is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in
school-based services, located in Birmingham, Alabama. This role
involves providing therapeutic support to students with diverse
needs within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Assess
and develop individualized treatment plans to support student
development and participation in school activities. Collaborate
with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement
effective therapy strategies. Monitor progress and adjust
interventions to meet the evolving needs of students. Participate
in team meetings and contribute to integrated support plans.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and
regulatory requirements. Travel to various school locations as
required to deliver services. Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama.
Experience working in school environments preferred. Strong
interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with children,
families, and school staff. Ability to work independently and
manage scheduling across multiple sites. Flexibility for travel
