Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel nursing opportunity is available for experienced RNs skilled in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings. This role is based in Greensboro, NC, providing care in a dynamic progressive care environment focusing on cardiac and critical care patient needs. The position requires handling a 1:5 patient ratio and involves managing cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and intravenous line care, including peripheral and PICC lines. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown/PCU unit. Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry with accurate dysrhythmia identification. Administer and titrate intravenous drips as prescribed. Manage care and maintenance of peripheral and PICC lines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care. Flexibly float among various campus locations within the healthcare system as needed. Qualifications: Current RN licensure with at least two years of clinical experience. Proven experience in Progressive Care Unit settings. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIH required. Strong knowledge of cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management. Ability to manage complex patient care and maintain compliance with healthcare standards. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM). Weekend and holiday rotation. No call responsibilities.
