As a Trauma Surgeon, you will provide comprehensive care to critically injured patients in a Level I or Level II trauma center, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Perform life-saving surgical procedures for trauma and emergency cases Provide acute surgical care for critically ill and injured patients Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians, intensivists, and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient management Participate in trauma call coverage and respond to emergency cases promptly Engage in trauma performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs Contribute to resident and medical student education through mentorship and training Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery and/or Surgical Critical Care Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Florida Excellent decision-making, clinical, and communication skills Why Join Us?
