Job Description:

(PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Birmingham,
Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic,
patient-centered environment where advanced medical technology and
compassionate care go hand-in-hand. As a PCU RN with Gifted
Healthcare, you will handle patients who require close monitoring
and advanced medical care, typically seen in the step-down unit
from ICU. Our ideal candidate thrives in complex situations and can
skillfully enhance patient outcomes through expert care and a
detailed understanding of patient needs. Continuously monitor
patient health status and respond to subtle changes in condition.
Perform regular assessments and administer medications as
prescribed. Coordinate care plans and implement interventions with
the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on illness
management and prevention. Maintain accurate patient records and
prepare reports on patient progress. Work collaboratively with
physicians, specialists, and other nursing staff to ensure optimum
patient care. Acute patient care Telemetry and vital signs
monitoring Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Patient and family
education Crisis intervention Effective communication and
interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Valid RN license in the state of Alabama BLS
