Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an
Inpatient Rehab position at a hospital in Northport, AL, working
night shifts with every other weekend required. Details - Inpatient
Rehabilitation Pavilion within a hospital setting - Patients
include stroke, hip fracture, and pulmonary cases focused on
improving functional ability and independence - Patients receive
24-hour medical monitoring alongside a multi-disciplinary team
including physiatrists, nurse practitioners, and physician
assistants - Providers round daily during patient stays - Therapy
equipment on unit includes body weight support systems, treadmills,
a Dynavision machine, and a simulation vehicle - EMR: Meditech
(experience not required) - Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Every
other weekend required - Holiday coverage required - Floating to
other units and hospitals required - 13-week contract Requirements
- Active AL RN license or Compact RN license required — no pending
or temporary licenses accepted - No hits (past or current) on
license allowed - AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required -
Associate degree in nursing required - Minimum 2 years of RN
experience required, with at least 1 year of recent experience in
inpatient rehab - NURSYS verification required - Current driver's
license required for consideration - Two professional references
from within the last year required for consideration Additional
Information - Deliver 24-hour nursing care and medical monitoring
to inpatient rehabilitation patients - Collaborate daily with a
multi-disciplinary team to support patient recovery goals - No
HealthStream modules required prior to start — competency-based
modules are completed during virtual orientation - Solid navy
