qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care to intermediate-level patients in a dedicated stepdown unit
supporting stroke and cardiac cases. This contract opportunity is

Location Overview:Greensboro, North Carolina, is a vibrant city

entertainment, and outdoor activities nearby. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care on a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit with
an average daily census of 35 patients. Manage patients with
diagnoses including stroke, heart failure, TIA, sepsis, syncope,
AKI, and chest pain. Administer and titrate hemodynamic drips such
as Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Neo, Nitro, and Amio. Monitor
telemetry rhythms and promptly escalate neurological changes.
Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy staff, RTs,
hospitalists, and intensivists to ensure continuous patient care
and safety. Utilize technology including Encompass/EPIC EMR, Baxter
IV pumps transitioning to Alaris in 2026, Omnicell medication
dispensing, and Philips MX-40 monitors. Participate in facility and
unit orientations to integrate effectively into the team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active RN licensure. Minimum 1
year of RN experience, preferably in stepdown or intermediate care
units. NIHSS certification required for neuro assessment. BLS and
ACLS certification mandatory. Strong telemetry interpretation
skills. Ability to manage complex medication drips and cardiac
monitoring. Previous experience in a stroke-focused or progressive
care setting is highly preferred. First-time travelers not accepted
for this role. Work Schedule: Shift hours vary; typically aligned
