Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our diverse team, delivering comprehensive therapy services at our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and through home-based care. This role focuses on developing patient-specific treatment plans to restore, enhance, and maintain the speech capabilities of our patients. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for rehabilitative services and a commitment to improving patients' quality of life. Assess and diagnose disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and fluency Develop and deliver patient-centered treatment plans Educate patients and families about treatment strategies and ongoing progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care Expertise in various speech therapy techniques Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle emotional situations with compassion and professionalism Proficiency with electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
