Therapist School Setting (Shelby, NC) Contract Position | Start
ASAP | Ends May 20, 2026 A contract opportunity is available for a
licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services in a
school setting serving Elementary and Pre-K age groups. This role
focuses on delivering therapeutic support to young students to help
improve their functional abilities and participation in educational
activities. The position involves a full-time schedule of 37.5
hours per week, Monday through Friday. Location: Shelby, North
Carolina Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments for
students requiring occupational therapy services Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational
professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed
documentation and compliance with state regulations Provide therapy
in a school environment focusing on Elementary and Pre-K children
Qualifications: Current NC Occupational Therapy License is required
Experience working with children in school settings preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work
