JOB DETAILS: 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday Pay is $16-$17/hr DOE This is a temp to hire position. Tow motor experience is required. Valid license with under 2 points required. You will be insured on the company's insurance policy. Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our foundry team. The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading raw materials, supplies, and finished castings throughout the facility. This role ensures production areas remain stocked, materials are stored correctly, and equipment is operated safely and efficiently to support smooth manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Load, unload, and transport raw materials, sand, molds, and finished castings within the foundry. Operate forklifts, tow motors and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Stage materials at workstations to support production schedules and minimize downtime. Assist with maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials and supplies. Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all foundry safety rules, including PPE requirements and proper handling of hot or heavy materials. Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to meet daily production goals. Report any equipment malfunctions, shortages, or safety hazards to supervision immediately. Must be able to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen.
