We are seeking several experts in environmental, pharmaceutical and
other regulatory analytical testing fields to help us build upon
our QA oversight consulting practice.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience, including an
environmental chemistry background with extensive laboratory
experience and experience with the specialty chemistry industries
including food, cannabis and pharmaceutical. The ideal candidate
will also have experience providing technical supervision in
regulated industries and business development.
This position is considered advanced for professional environmental
chemistry work. Overnight travel will be required of employees in

Essential Job Functions
Review environmental laboratory data in an organized and concise
manner, consistent with and as prescribed by corporate and US EPA
data validation standard operating procedures, quality assurance
project plans, and published analytical methods; Ensure on-time
delivery of project reports and senior technical review to ensure
accuracy of report that meets client expectations; Supervision of
other chemists and interaction with project laboratories and
clients; Detailed report and proposal preparation; Independently
collect and synthesize environmental laboratory data; Give
direction and develop solutions to encountered data issues with
little principal guidance required; Design and direct work scopes;
Prepare and create highly-original project document; Client
interaction on-site or off-site meetings or conference calls;
Limited participation in negotiations and/or meetings with the
regulatory community; Budget development and proposal and
preparation for tasks and complex projects; Extensive marketing
responsibilities to generate new opportunities from new or existing
clients; Some (annually) public speaking or authorship of
professional papers; Exercise considerable care in following
directions; Additional duties as may be assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience
The following qualifications are preferred:
B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry or an allied science from an
accredited college or university; 7-10 years of environmental
laboratory experience in GC/MS, GC, ICP, HPLC; Familiarity with the
US EPA methods for the preparation and analysis of environmental
samples; Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
Able to review environmental laboratory data for completeness;
correctness; compliance against the published analytical methods;
and usability utilizing corporate data validation standard
operating procedures, US EPA data validation guidelines, and
Quality Assurance Project Plans; Possess a thorough understanding
of chemistry principles and their application to environmental data
review; Able to use a variety of office equipment, such as
computers, fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, and
videoconferencing and telephone systems; Computer literature
capable of performing tasks such as: create spreadsheets; compose
correspondence; and create reports, and documents using desktop
software; Exhibit discretion and good judgment; Possess keen
analytical skills; Detail oriented; Ability to work
