Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops Reports and Queries to aid in Accounts Payable Analysis
  • Ensures the integrity of reports and queries developed through verification of the data
  • Perform and manage Month End closing tasks
  • Prepare journal entries and month end accrual calculations
  • Reconcile and Balance Vendor Account Balances
  • Research Invoices, Purchase Orders and Payments
  • Assist with general ledger account reconciliations
  • Processing & verifying accuracy of many different types of invoices
  • Interpret contracts to terms on invoices
  • Create and upload payment journals to the ERP system for workflow approval & payment
  • Assist with ERP testing on all software upgrades and enhancements
  • Format excel spreadsheets of electronic invoices to be imported into the ERP system
  • Create and send remittance files/reports to various vendors
  • Address all email correspondence from theatres and vendors
  • Act as back up for the payment processing function
  • Concur T&E System Administration
  • Supports all field and corporate staff with expense reporting questions
  • Cross train on various tasks within the department
  • Maintain internal departmental procedures and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal & external auditors to provide documentation during each audit
  • Assist Accounts Payable Manager and Director of Treasury with projects/tasks as assigned
  • Regular and consistent attendance

Professional Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP and IFRS), ability to determine appropriate accounting treatment of new transaction types.

Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, as well as being proactive with responsibilities and issues.

Strong organizational and project management skills. Advanced excel experience is preferred.


Bachelors Degree in Accounting and/or Finance and four to seven years related experience and/or training; CTP, CPA or CTP/CPA track preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:


Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Advanced working knowledge of Excel is required. Microsoft Dynamics AX experience and report building/writing experience would be a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
