Job description:Employee Resources Assistant (part-time)Salary Class:Non-ExemptLocation:Campus/remote officeReports to:Region Generalist (Employee Resources Department)Objective/Summary:Responsible for general human resource administrative support in the following areas: recruitment, onboarding, performance, employee relations and scheduling.Essential Functions:Assist regional manager and region generalist with screening potential candidates and phone interviewing for dishwasher and chef assistant job openings.Assist job applicants and new employees with the application and/or onboarding process (in person and/or virtual).Schedule and facilitate employee orientation and training schedule to ensure thorough and efficient onboarding.Maintain accurate and timely performance documentation/notes. Coordinate with region generalist on performance discussions, progressive disciplinary action and follow-up as necessary.Responsible for maintaining the scheduling function in Paycom ensure all employees schedules are accurate and published in timely manner.Assist with reference checks for future candidates as directed by region generalist, regional manager and Director, employee resources.Other Functions:May be required to assist Region Generalist with internal investigations.Assist the employee resource team and regional manager with filing, reporting and other general office functions as directed.Assist employee resources department and/or Regional Manager with end of year special projects as directed.Competencies:Client FocusInterpersonal/Relationship ManagementCollaborationTime ManagementComputer/Technical CompetencyCommunicationConfidentialitySupervisor Responsibility:This position has no supervisor responsibility.Work Environment:This position may be required to work in both an office and kitchen setting.This position is based on the Alabama campus and functions in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and customer-service focused environment.This job may operate in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers and chefs knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.Physical Demands:The position requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. 4:30 p.m.Travel:No travel is expected for this position.QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:2 years' customer service experience to show commitment to an outstanding customer experience.2 years' experience working with HRIS/HCM software (i.e. Paycom, Paylocity, ADP, Kronos, etc.)Proficient with computers and relevant software application (i.e. Microsoft Office, Dropbox, etc.)Preferred Education and Experience:Associates degree in Human Resources, Office Administration, Business or related field, or the equivalent there of.2 years' experience working with HRIS/HCM software (i.e. Paycom, Paylocity, ADP, Kronos, etc.)Additional Eligibility Requirements:Adhere to policies and procedures set forth in College Fresh employee handbook.Other Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
