Network Support Technician (Entry / Experienced Level

- - - - - - - - - -The Network Support Technician works with a team
of other technicians to support the network and office automation
areas of the facility and provides technical assistance to the
users of these systems.Responsibilities:- Resolve when possible,
more sophisticated problems in the user, system, network and office
automation domains- When needed, transfer the unresolved problems
to the specialized teams and coordinate their process when
assisting in problem resolution- Collect and express the IT needs
of the site users and provide support in these areas- Be part of a
team that provides site assistance for local operations and
improvements- Ensure PC refresh for users- Contribute to the IT
safety of the site- Resolve incidents and problems that occur on
the site in accordance with defined procedures and in collaboration
with the different stake holders- Implement improvements after
problem solving and ensure they are collected and used in future
processes- Follow up on support requests in system. Ensure they are
tracked and submitted to customers within deadlines- Requests for
service delivery (hardware/software/right for system access) are
processed or transmitted to support teams; asset management
information is up to date, hardware and services implementation are
in accordance with IS engagements- Ensure security rules are
applied- Provide support for deployment projects within the
facilityRequirements:- Associates degree with a focus on Computer
Networking is preferred but equivalent experience in the tasks
listed above are considered- Possess good communication skills as
you will be interacting with end users frequently- Must be open to
working in a plant environment- Past industrial experience is a
plus- MS Office, Cisco, Checkpoint knowledge a plus- Experience
with working with firewalls, connectivity, hardware**Candidates
must be open to being "on call" during one week of each month to
resolve issues at the facility. This responsibility is shared with
