Job Description:

Safe and efficient operation of the gas processing plant. Operate and maintain a natural gas processing plant. Applicant must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicant must also have at least basic mechanical skills, as well as an understanding of the basics of pressures and flows in pipes. More advanced knowledge/experience with pumps and compressors is highly desirable. Basic computer skills (typing, email) required.Essential Functions (90%)

Operate and monitor plant functions
Schedule maintenance with outside contractors
Interact with the gas supplier (Black Warrior Methane field operators)
Order supplies
Other duties as assigned by management.The job entails an average 42-hour work week (at minimum) with 12 hours on 12 hours off for 7 days. Then off for 7 days. Shifts rotate between day and night. Overtime is common to cover for other operators off on vacation, sick days, etc. Most of the time the operator is alone at the site. There will be a 90 day probationary period.
