For more information, visit and .Diageo Montgomery:As part of building a resilient and efficient supply network, Diageo North America plans to open a new manufacturing and warehousing facility in Montgomery, Alabama. The 360,000 sq ft site will support Diageo's brands with multi-million case capacity, enhancing North American supply chain operations and supporting export growth. It aims to reduce logistics-related emissions and employ state-of-the-art technology for water and energy efficiency.Context/Scope:The Montgomery Operation offers a diverse product range. The Quality Team ensures compliance with regulations, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and corporate standards. The Quality Team Leader supervises daily quality operations, maintains Food Safety and Quality assurance standards, and oversees sensory, analytical, and microbiological testing, working closely with production teams to meet quality standards.Purpose of Role:As a key member of the plant Quality Team, the Quality Team Leader develops, implements, and monitors policies, procedures, and training to support the site's quality objectives. The role focuses on:

• Ensuring employee safety
• Managing night shift Quality Technicians
• Maintaining compliance with Food Safety/HACCP and regulatory standards
• Providing leadership to address Food Safety and Quality issues
• Supporting innovation, brand changes, and supply optimization through project facilitation
• Developing quality processes and programs, including SPC and database managementKey Outputs:
  • Promote safety and food safety agendas to ensure a safe workplace and safe products
  • Lead shift quality operations, ensuring process adherence to standards
  • Manage Quality Technicians, providing resources and support
  • Monitor product quality, ingredient compliance, and approval processes
  • Engage with vendors to ensure packaging and component standards
  • Oversee nonconformance and qualification product holds
  • Lead quality-related projects to enhance systems and programsQualifications and Experience Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Packaging, Chemistry, or related field, or five years' experience in quality within a bottling environment
    • Strong communication, organizational, analytical skills, and multi-tasking ability
    • Proven change management skills in manufacturing
    • Leadership experience, with at least two years leading teams
    • Knowledge of TTB, State regulations, ISO 9001, and FSSC 22000 standards is a plus
