Department/Organization:505171 - Supply Store - Ferguson
Normal Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some
weekends & extended hours
Job Summary:The Sales Associate Sr supports the retail operations
of a designated store or branch for the university. May serve as
lead over other sales associates.
Additional Department Summary:The Web and Mail Order Sales
Associate Sr assists with most facets of the Supply Store's Web and
mail order operations. Assists with processing web/mail orders for
the Store, uses the computerized management system for processing
customer orders through the web/mail order module or point of sale
system, and assists customers with questions daily. Assists with
inventorying the merchandise for the web/mail order department.
Helps with supervision of student staffing for the web department.
Will require some weekend & extended hours.
Required Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or the
equivalent and two years of retail sales experience; OR Bachelor's
degree.
Skills and Knowledge:Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications:Extensive customer service experience and
skills in a retail environment that parallels the functions of this
position.
