Self Schedule, no weekends or holidays.Servicing Areas: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, 35404, 35401- Private Duty Nurse for a total care pediatric client.Hours: 12 hours per day 7 days a week - Flexible will discuss hours with nurse and family.PRN Licensed Practical Nurse: Benefits Include but not limited to:

• Company matched 401KAs an Addus Nurse, you will:
  • Enable patients to stay independent while they remain in their own homes.
  • Perform selected nursing procedures, commensurate with experience and education within the scope of LPN/LVN practice including but not limited to: tracheostomy care, colostomy care, enemas, douches, catheterizations, dressing changes, and phlebotomies.
  • Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN.
  • Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations.
  • Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately.
  • Perform routine supervisory visits to evaluate the plan of care and supervise the delivery of excellent client service.
  • Communicate with Case Managers and other members of the care teamREQUIREMENTS
    • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current practical nurse licensure.
    • At least 2 year of practical nursing experience.
